The command to be fruitful has been front and center in God’s Word from Genesis forward.
Jesus began His ministry by calling His followers to be “fishers of men” and concluded His earthy ministry with the command to “go and make disciples…..” Often Jesus would though teaching, parable and demonstration make clear that those that truly followed Him were expected to be workers in God’s harvest fields and produce lasting fruit.
Friday, we will look at the vast difference from what the world calls fruitful and compare it to the teachings of Jesus.
We will also look to the disciple, Philip, to see how he exampled the instruction of his master.
As we explore these Biblical truths we will seek to identify ways we can grow in being faithful to this charge to work in the specific fields that God has given to each of us to work.
The great news is that God is a restorer and healer to those of us who have not always served in faithfulness and works in our lives to prepare us for the ministry He has entrusted to us.
Please join us Friday as we “step up” to applying God’s Word to our walk!!
