“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
About three weeks ago I went to work at The PIER Foundation only to come to the realization that someone had stolen our trailer.
I closed out early the night before so I could go to see my youngest daughter walk in her Homecoming Court. I was back at it on Saturday at 9:00 in the morning.
Sometime between 5:30 PM on Friday and 9:00 AM Saturday morning someone felt that they needed our enclosed utility trailer more that we did!
It was shocking, disturbing and frustrating as we had to cancel three pick ups that day and knew we would be crippled by this loss until the trailer is recovered or replaced.
According to Noah Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language a thief is “One who secretly, unlawfully and feloniously takes the goods or personal property of another. The thief takes the property of another privately; the robber by open force … One who makes it his business to cheat and defraud.”
There is one who is the epitome of the word, his name is Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, and he is out and about to kill, steal and destroy all that God has for you!
Join us this Friday morning at One Thing as we dive into this passage and mine the rich truths that God has for us.
You will be enlightened, encouraged and equipped to be all that you can be for the glory of God and experience all that he has for you.
With great expectancy I will see you at the tables on Friday!
Prayer for the week:
Lord, thank You for all that You have done for me. I commit myself to making the most of my spiritual journey. I want to experience as much as I can of You and all that You have to offer me.
