What have you been pursuing? Fortune and fame?
OK, maybe not that extreme … perhaps you’ve simply been seeking peace, hope, and love.
Or perhaps, you’ve been on the pursuit of happiness.
Even our Declaration of Independence says this is one of inalienable rights.
But who’s been pursuing you?
Who loves you so much that they would want a personal relationship with you? An unconditional relationship…one that’s not based on what you’ve done or how valuable you might be. Who would decide to pursue you with everything they have?
This Friday, we’ll look at the message of the prophet Hosea. At this time in history, 750 years before Christ, the people of Israel were in pursuit of other gods. They were unfaithful to the God of the universe, yet this God still pursued his people.
Join me early this Friday as we unpack this message and see the application for us in this day and age. Doors open at 6:30 am for coffee, donuts, and fellowship.
We’ll get started at 7:00 am and I hope to see you there!

This Week’s Key Verses
The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.” So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer and a lethek of barley. Hosea 3:1-2
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. Psalm 24:1
Flee the evil desires oh youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22
